Robert Waybright plays at Apex
On my 70th birthday I was diagnoised with pancratic cancer. Most people believed I would not live more than a few months. My family and doctors said fight it so with their help and my faith in God I did. About five months ago a gentleman at the Apex center suggested I try Pickle Ball. I met Ken who was very encouraging so I tried it. Between chemo and poor hand eye coordination I felt like a failure. Thanks to my fellow players, who cared for me when I was sick and kicked my butt when I felt fine, I am enjoying myself. Now for over three years I have survived.
